Chapter 1

Indian Army is the land-based branch and the largest component of the Indian Armed Forces. The President of India is the Supreme Commander of the Indian Army, and its professional head is the Chief of Army Staff, who is a four-star general.

The Indian Army is divided into 7 commands: Eastern Command, Central Command, Southern Command, South-western command, Western Command, and Training Command.

We are now in the Training Command, near Shimla. This is near Himachal Pradesh and is surrounded by the Himalayas in the South, Beas river to the north, and Ravi River to the south. Army office lies in the center.

The cafeteria is right to the office of the Army. Here and there, soldiers walk and some are having tea, coffee in the cafeteria.

A soldier runs to his room in order to meet a trainee, who is doing his exercise in the early morning, wearing a blue shirt, thick green pants, and have done an army-hair cut.

The soldier tells him, "Yuva. Good news for you. You have been selected as the Major. Going to achieve your long dreams. Congratulations!"

"Thank you, sir," said Yuva.

"One more important matter to tell you, Yuva," said the Soldier, in a light tone.

"Yeah sir," said Yuva.

"You are asked by Colonel Ram Singh to meet him as soon as possible. He needs to discuss with you, something very important" said the soldier.

Ram Singh is a strict Colonel, who expects perfection in duty. Though he is tough, he is a loving person and dotes on everyone.

Yuva completes his exercise and proceeds to meet his Colonel. Rajiv Singh.

"Sir," said Yuva and he salutes him.

"Take your seats, Yuva," said Rajiv Singh.

"No sir. I always respect my seniors and it's wrong to sit in chairs" said Yuva.

"Hey. Take your seat man" said Ram Singh.

He takes his seats and the Colonel in a silent tone, tells him, "Yuva. You got good news from the soldier. But, sadly, you have bad news too. Anyways. You have to bear the news."

"What's the news sir?" asked Yuva.

"Your mentor, I mean Prime Minister Viraat is now ill. He is admitted to the Delhi AIIMS Hospital. Home Minister Raghav Reddy

whom you see as your uncle

wants to meet you. He asked me to send you, as soon as possible" said Colonel Raj Singh.

"Sir. I have been now selected as a Major. In addition, we need several formalities to be fulfilled now for going outside at this point of time" said Yuva.

"I will handle them, Yuva. First, you go and meet your mentor. That's very very important, now. I have arranged all the formalities" said Raj Singh.

"Ok, sir. I will meet you soon. Jai Hind!" said Yuva and he takes an exit from the office.

While going in the flight, Yuva closes his eyes and as he closed his eyes, childhood life strikes him and he starts to go into the picturization of his childhood life. His face has now become pale and tears started rolling down from his eyes

Goes into Narrative mode

.

My father Colonel Ram Prakash was a Tamilian from Madras. He settled in Delhi. My mother died when I was four years old. From that time, it was Viraat sir, who raised me up. I, my father, and Raghav Reddy were happy, living like a family.

At that time, my uncle Viraat and Raghav Reddy were busy in politics. They were busy in the 2005 elections and fundraising policies for the then, Indian Janatha Party. Viraat uncle was serving as the Chief Minister of Delhi.

After the elections, all was going normal until one fine day in 2005 December came into my life. It was a black day. On my birthday, I lost my father in the 2005 Delhi Bombings.

I was adopted by Viraat and raised up by him. I was brilliant in academics as well as sports. Days and years passed as such and I proceeded to join the Indian Army.

Already Viraat uncle was suffering from heart ailments and diabetes. When I came to the Indian Army in 2019, he was aged 68 years. Now, he might be 70 years old, as per my guess.

He and Raghav Reddy have raised me up by thought in several moral values, the basics of leading an ethical kind of life, and the importance of education in man's life.

I still follow their thoughts, wherever I go.

"Sir. We are going to reach Delhi, in a few minutes" said the flight worker.

"Oh! Is it? Okay" said Yuva.

Yuva proceeds to the AIIMS hospital, which is written in bold letters. The office is on the left side and patients go here and there in the lifts. Doctors and nurses go hereby and there. Some patient's relatives are speaking busy on their phones.

He further, sees a separate Corona ward, being full with the patients, and tells in his mind that, "God is cruel at sometimes."

The security guards come to the hospital immediately, learning the arrival of Yuva. They take him to the room Viraat.

Yuva meets him.

He asks the doctor, "Doctor. What happened to him suddenly?"

"Sir. He struggled to breathe, the day before yesterday. Raghav sir admitted him. Corona is not there. But, he is very weak" said the doctor.

Suddenly, Viraat starts to struggle in breathing and the nurse calls the doctor. They bring him to control and upon checking, the doctor informs Yuva that, "He would die anytime."

At 10:00 PM, he passes away. The news reaches all over India and to the party.

Several media people are curious to know about the next Prime Minister and many common people are eager to know the next Prime Minister.

In Tamilnadu, a Media named Ren 1 Network's chief executor Ram Krishna asks the Opposition party leader Paramjyothi, "Sir. As per your guess, who would be the next Prime Minister of India?"

"Maybe Raghav Reddy would be the next Prime Minister," said Paramjyothi.

"That's not at all possible. Since he promised that his role would be to develop the party and not the Prime Minister" said an auto man, when being asked to him by the media channel.

"It's not the right time to guess who would be the next Prime Minister of India, at this point in time. So, better please avoid this question, at this point of time" said Chief Minister Rathnavel Reddy in Telangana, when he had been asked by the Media people.

While tensions go like this, creative conflicts go in the Janatha Desiya Party too. Arguments between leaders heat up for the next Prime Minister.

Upon seeing the issues, Raghav Reddy tells them, "Silence. Stop it. Nonsense. What are you all doing? Is this a cabinet meeting or fish market? All are shouting. Be quite. I will tell who will be the next to Prime Minister within the next 24 hours."

On the outside, media people ask Raghav Reddy, "Sir. Why don't you take charge as Prime Minister in charge at least, at this period of time?"

"No comments. Please move" said Raghav Reddy.

Several people in the party are not ready as well as unwilling to take charge as Prime Minister. Since already Corona Wave 2 is spreading and many are now idle about what to do in the present situation.

Vaccines are exported to world countries and fall shortage in the Indian States. Not only Corona Wave 2. But, another fact is that there are lots of unsolved issues, at present. Such as the Agricultural bill act, 2020, CAA

Citizenship Amendment act

, New Education Policy 2020, etc.

Henceforth, they suggest an efficient and bold candidate for the Prime Minister posting. In his room, he sees a few photos of Mahatma Gandhi, Sardar Vallabhai Patel, Jawaharlal Nehru, K. Kamaraj, and Manmohan Singh.

He prays to their photo telling them that, "He would also appear in their photo, setting as a good example for our citizen."

Left with no way, Raghav Reddy reluctantly meets Yuva. He goes along with Raj Singh

.

"Come uncle. I have just now planned to meet you. I am planning to return to the Indian Army in two days" said Yuva.

"I have canceled your flight ticket Yuva," said Raghav Reddy.

Yuva looks silently.

"Take your seats," said Raghav Reddy.

Yuva sits and now Raghav Reddy tells, "You have to stay here only. Serving our party is your duty, here afterward."

"What? Are you joking uncle? I have to go for borders within two days. That's my dream too" said Yuva.

"Why have you chose Indian Army? Anyone reasons can you say kindly, Yuva?" asked Ram Singh.

"Because I wanted to serve our country by guarding the borders. I wish to inspire other youth also to serve for our nation's welfare" said Yuva.

"The same mission only, here also. As a youth, you could be an example for other people for serving as the Prime Minister of India" said Raghav Reddy.

"I don't know about Politics. I don't know about the system, too. How can I take charge as Prime Minister? And many oppositions may arise, as I come from Indian Army" asked Yuva.

"We have to learn everything. Challenges are part of our life" said Raghav.
