Chapter 1

The winter breeze 'whooshed' through the broken windows of the crowded abandon warehouse.

"I wonder what this meeting will be all about?" asked a skinny man.

"You do know how Eminent is like, he has probably called us here so he can go on about his gang's achievements," replied a fat man wearing a dirty orange fur coat.

"I don't think so Jeff, especially since the Blood brothers are also here," replied a skinny woman who looked identical to the black cat she was carrying while staring at the two skinny identical men before them who were carrying chain saws.

"Can the meeting start? We are freezing here!" shouted Jeff shoving his hands inside his coat's pockets. "Oh, look Rooster is also here."

After he had said that last sentence he felt a heavy machete on the back of his waist.

"You call me that one more time and this kidney of yours is in the market," a man behind him drinking a beer threatened.

Sweat flooded down his oily skin making him shine even more.

"Don't tell me you are planning on killing that trash," a young man on a wheel chair rudely stated with a rude laughter. "You don't want to waste your time and energy on him."

"He...he's right I'm not worth your killing," Jeff desperately stated, with his voice sounding a little trembling. "You don't want to get your precious knife dirty over a joke."

"Two notes and I'll let you keep your kidney," the man carrying a heavy machete proposed.

"Hey look, the meeting is starting," said the skinny man.

A second of turning away was all Jeff and his two friends needed to disappear.

"I curse the day I taught those idiots my survival skills," the man carrying a heavy machete spitefully, said sliding back his weapon inside his old looking grey coat.

Everyone started moving closer to the short man who was standing on top of a bucket. A group of scary looking men stood behind, they all wore huge coats which they hid their dangerous weapons, including firearms.

A young muscular blonde woman who looked almost like a dark elf stood beside the short men with her cold eyes scanning the whole room for any potential threats.

"Two breads for saving your butt," whispered the skinny man on Jeff's ear.

"Shut it Nobi, would you just listen to what Eminent has to say?" snapped Jeff wiping his sweaty face with an old handkerchief, which Nobi saw him pick from one of the garbage bins from the Circle street. "No bread you are getting from me."

"I'd like to greet you all my street people according to your respectable positions and also thank you for coming," the short man began.

"Get on with it Eminent!" snapped a man with a scar on his lip. "Why did you call us here in such short notice?"

The crowd started mumbling.

"No need to rush me there Razor, I'm getting to that part," Eminent calmly dismissed unsatisfied Razor. "In these past months I've been observing an increase in the number of our committee and most of them are taking our turfs."

"And food is becoming scarce!" yelled a man with a heavily grown beard which looked like old steel wool, who was standing beside Nobi.

"Some are hunting in our spot!" yelled the skinny woman.

Soon everyone was arguing and some were actually starting to fight with each other. A act only wild animals could pull out. There was a gunshot as everyone stopped whatever madness they were doing.

"Thank you Dice," said Eminent looking at the black man near him. "As I was saying people, we are not enemies but we are family, yes look at your neighbor he's no enemy but he's family."

"But he's head is bigger than mine and his surname isn't the same as mine," argued the skinny lady.

"Pinky is right this family thing of yours Eminent doesn't make sense!" added Nobi.

"What I'm trying to say my good people is that we all want the same thing and that is to be rich and I, Eminent can make that dream and I mean that dream to come true," Eminent stated while taking a big bag from the muscular blonde woman near him.

"How Eminent? Are you going to rob a bank?!" shouted Razor. "Or worse rob the shelter?" asked the man who owns a heavy machete, while taking a sip on his beer which he realized was empty.

Everyone burst in laughter.

"That's not such a bad idea you know Niru, considering that you do steal some of the food from the shelter but, that not how I the mighty Eminent operate," replied Eminent opening the big black bag.

"No wonder we always get little food," a man carrying a cane stated.

Everyone started mumbling.

"At least I steal in the shelter rather than pretending to be blind and at night I steal people's possessions," Niru casually replied. "Hasn't anyone wondered how he can see that the food dished in the shelter is small?"

Everyone started questioning Mr. Somber about Niru's allegations.

"What? Is that true Mr. Somber?" asked Pinky.

"Everyone would you settle down!" shouted Dice. "For once would you act like normal human beings?"

There was silence as everyone started looking at each other.

"Dice is right we cannot always fight in order to solve our problems," said Eminent taking out some stack of bank notes from the big bag and throwing it to the crowd.

Pushing and grabbing was all it was. Everyone wanted to get the stack of money which was being thrown at them.

"I want all of you to join my gang, join the Street gang and you all shall be set free from your misery!" shouted Eminent. "It's time for a new era to conquer these streets of Neon city, so what do you say?!"

There was no reason for voting because their cheering made it clear that Eminent's speech had won the crowd.

The blood brothers made their chain saws rumble in the air in joy.
