It was a rainy afternoon at the local secondary school and everyone was inside eating lunch. But me, I was outside dancing in the rain as my school shirt and blazer got drenched. Then she came into veiw, I couldn't believe my eyes, it was such a site to behold as she danced the same way I had just been, standing there, twirling her skirt around with the biggest smile on her face, and I just stood there, staring at her, memorising every inch of her face like it would be the last time I would see it.
Suddenly she turned to look at me, and for a second we just stood there staring at eachother untill she turned and walked away leaving me all alone in the rain on the playground.
For weeks after that we would see eachother in the hallway, on the way to lessons and in the playground, every time I would see her I would wonder if she remembered me from dancing in the rain, but that would soon become apparent to me the next time I sat down to eat lunch in the main hall.
As I'm reaching into my bag for my crisps someone comes and sits opposite me and as I look up my friend Paige says "hi Evelyn." Looking up I realize it's the same girl from the playground, the same girl who danced in the rain, the same girl who's smile makes my heart fly had just sat down opposite me and I was speechless, "Hi Storm" she said as her eyes practically stare into my soul, reaching into the deepest part of my mind and I just feel my mind slip away.
Next thing I know I'm in an ambulance with a paramedic standing over me explaining that I had fainted! I was so in aw with Evelyn that I fainted and was being taken to hospital, as I sit up there is Evelyn siting behind the paramedic looking extremely worried. "OH MY GOD STORM ARE YOU OK I'VE BEEN SO WORRIED AND I DECIDED TO COME ALONG I HOPE THATS OK!" Yelled Evelyn sounding very concerned, trying to calm her down I say " hey, hey, it's ok I'm fine and I'm glad your here it's nice to have a familiar face around."
We spend the rest of the journey chatting about the most random things and our absolute favourite TV shows of all time "so storm what's your favourite show?" Evelyn asked me "well I would have to say Friends or the new She-Ra TV show" I replied "what's yours? "Well I would have to say the society, have you heard of it?" She said curiously to which I said "oh my god yes I love that show.
