Lyka's on the middle of the street, alone, wet and devastated. The rain was pouring so hard as if they we're joining her and her pain. She don't know why she's doing this to herself, all she know is, she's in pain and she need someone to lift her up.
Lyka felt a hand holding her shoulder, "Miss are you okay?" She didn't wait a second and hug him tight, she don't know him but she need him right now.
They stayed that way for almost a minute, "Miss?" Lyka looked up at him and she saw care in his eyes.
Lyka lost her grip on him and she wiped her tears away, "I'm sorry." She said then she walk away from him.
Lyka kept walking until she got home, "Sister what happened? What happened to you?" The concern on Lou's face was obvious when she saw Lyka.
Lyka smiled at Lou and kissed her cheeks, "I'm okay, I just got wet by the rain." She went straight to the bedroom and changed her clothes.
Lyka opened her phone and saw missed calls from him. Her cheater ex-boyfriend.
Calix calling...
Lyka answered the call, maybe it's stupid but she want to end everything left between them now, "Lyka let me explain." Her tears started to come out when she heard his voice again.
Lyka tried not to sob because she didn't want him to think she was still hurt, "Lyka? I know what I did was wrong but it's your fault." Her heart hurts so bad, it feels like her heart is being squeezed.
Lyka refrain from crying but she can't, "If you just give me everything I want I wouldn't look for it in others. So don't blame me for doing that, afterall, I'm a man, I have needs." She clenched her fist, she wanna scream at him, she want to scold him all.
Lyka wipe her tears away, "You don't have to explain anything, that won't change the fact that you are a cheater." She turned off the call and turned off her phone.
Lyka went to the rooftop, she need to breath some air, she need to think and forget, "You know you don't deserve him Lyka, you deserve someone better." She preach to herself, of all the people why she loved that cheater.
"Yes, you don't deserve him." Lyka looked at her back to see who said that, she saw the man on the other rooftop, just too close from their rooftop.
Lyka's eyes widened when she realized that the man infront of her right now is the same man she hugged in the middle of the street, "Hi miss crying lady," Calvin said while smiling so wide at her, "Are you okay now?" She close her eyes to remember the embarrassing thing she did earlier.
Lyka turned her back on him and she walked towards the stairs, "Hey miss! I'm still talking to you!" she tried to ignore him but it was like her feet was tamed by Calvin, she stop walking.
"I'm sorry for w-what I did earlier. I-I hug you without your permission. I'm sorry." Lyka said without looking at him.
Lyka's so shy and embarrased for what she did earlier.
Calvin smile, "It's okay Lyka." he whispered before sitting on the brick wall of their rooftop.
Lyka walk closer to Calvin, "How did you know my name?" she asked.
"I just know." Calvin replied shortly.
"Are you even a stalker?!" Lyka exclaimed then take three steps backward.
Calvin just laugh. Without a word, he jump from their terrace to Lyka's rooftop.
"Hey?! Why did you do that? That's dangerous." Lyka deprimanded.
"I know. But I just want to meet you." Calvin said with a huge smile.
"Silly. We can talk while you are there." Lyka said with a smirk.
Calvin walk towards the metal chair then sit. Lyka followed him, "But I think this would be better. The closer, the better." He said while removing the hair strands that goes to Lyka's face.
Lyka hold his hand, "T-Thank you." She stammered in response.
An awkward atmosphere formed between them.
They became so silent, "Why are you crying on the middle of the street?" Calvin asked, breaking the silence.
"My boyfriend cheated on me." Lyka said, there's a pain on every word she said.
"I feel your pain." Calvin whispered.
Lyka look at Calvin, "Someone cheated on you either?" She asked before looking at the stars on the dark sky.
"Yeah. But a different kind of cheating. It's more painful I guess." Calvin said seriously.
Lyka can't utter any word. She just stare at him. Confused.
Calvin stand, "I'll be leaving you now. Thanks for your time Lyka." He said before jumping back to their terrace.
On that night, Lyka became so curious about Calvin. She doesn't know why but she can't take Calvin out of her mind.
"Kring!kring!" Her alarm rings, that only means that it's already time to prepare for school. She didn't even have enough sleep.
Lyka's now preparing her self to go to school. After that, she'll leave immediately. She doesn't want to be late. She values time so deeply.
After some minutes, Lyka reached the school. The school wasn't that far from their house.
Lyka's now walking in the corridor, she went to the school so early because she do not want to stay at home. She don't want to remember him, she don't want to cry.
3 days of crying is already enough, actually, it's already too much.
While walking at the corridor she saw a group of girls shouting someone's name, "Oh my gosh! Calvin!" The blond-haired woman shouted, "Calvin! Please notice me!" Jade shouted too.
Lyka let out a sigh. Why are they so revealing? Is it even right or reasonable to be that much obsessed to a man? They're so pathetic.
Lyka continue to walk and didn't bother to socialize with them, "Miss crying lady?" She freeze for a moment, "Miss crying lady it's you right?" She slowly look back at Calvin.
Calvin's smiling so wide at her, "Hi!" He said, still smiling, "Are you okay now?" He approached her but she refuse.
Lyka turned her back on him and started walking, "Wait!" Calvin shouted, but before she get far from him she get bumped by a student and she almost slipped on the floor.
Luckily, Calvin caught her, "It's a good thing that I caught you, otherwise, I'll blame myself for letting a beautiful girl like you to slip on the floor." Lyka don't know why her heart beats so fast when he said those words.
Lyka wake up, he's charming you.
Lyka look into his face, Calvin look so handsome yet his eyes look so tired, "C-can you h-help me stand?" Calvin laughed a bit then helped her.
Calvin scratched his head while biting his lips, "I'm sorry, you just seem to enjoy staring at me." Lyka look at him seriously, "I'm just joking, I just want to make you smile." She don't know why but that make her feel so special.
Calvin smiled again still looking at her, "Calvin!" The woman was still shouting as she approached them, "Come with me." Calvin took Lyka's hand then he ran, she accompanied him on the run because he was holding her hand.
Calvin and Lyka run until they reach the gate, then they went outside the school, "Where are we going? I have a class," he look back at her, "Just come with me." he said, still holding her hands.
They stop running when they reach a small parking lot, "What are we doing here?" Lyka said, still confuse on the things happening now, "Come on, I'll take you to a place where you will find peace and silence." Calvin smiled widely at her, and she don't know why she can't refuse him.
"Come on. Don't worry, you're safe with me. I assure you that." Calvin said, then he take her hand and lead her to his car.
Lyka was just quietly looking out of the car, she want to ask Calvin something but she's a bit shy to ask him that thing, and besides, they are not close yet so she can ask him something like that.
"You can ask me anything, it looks like you wanted to ask something earlier," Calvin said, breaking the silence, "I won't bite you don't worry, I'll just eat you. Just kidding." Then he laughs, they seem to be very close when he talks to her.
Should Lyka ask him why he seems to be tired? It seems wrong for her to ask that.
Lyka took her handkerchief and wiped the sweat on her face, "I j-just want to a-ask wh-" Calvin laughed at her, "Speak clearer, I can't understand you." He stopped the car.
Lyka look outside to see where they are now, "I just want to ask where are you going to take me, but here we are," Calvin got out of the car then he opened the door for her, "Where here at our ancestral house, my grandma live here." He's smiling while saying those words.
Why would he take her here?
"I want you to meet my grandma, I'm sure she'll love to see you again."
Again? What does he mean again?
"Again?" Lyka ask, still confuse of the things going around them now.
