Prologue
"Ahh can you please get me a juice, I'm thirsty." i ask my assistant while signing some documents.
"Sure, Ms. Aitana." but my eyes widened when i saw what he did.
"W-what the hell, Deshawn Reed?!!"
"What??" he innocently asked!
"What are you doing?!!"
"You told me you want juice but i can't give you that without mastu---" i cut him off.
"Shut the fvck up, Rivera!! Get out and get me an apple juice!!" i massage the bridge of my nose after talking.
"Yes Ms. Sanchez. Apple juice on the way!" He salute that made me massage my temple with so much irritation.
CHAPTER 1
"WE'LL just send you an email once you're qualified to this position, thank you," i said to the girl applicant with a clown face because of her thick make up. One fact that i dislike about girls-make up.
"Next please," I calmly ordered my older brother to let the next applicant in.
"Haven't you found one yet, Abry? For Pete's sake it's already three in the afternoon! I told you yesterday that I'll be the one to find your assistant but you refuse for the nth time!" we are here in my office and interviewing for my future assistant. I always prefer assistant than secretary for some matters.
"That's why I refused because you will come," I said coolly while leaning on my swivel chair.
"I just wanted to protect you, Abry. I'm your brother and I'll do everything to protect you," he said, annoyed.
"May i remind you bro that the last time i let you picked my assistant is worst, wherever i go, she is also there even when i'm going to CR! My Goodness!"
Well, maybe it's the Aries Bryle Sanchez brand. Who wouldn't be accepted? The girl has big boobs and butt. Duhh may i remind myself that my brother is a playboy.
"Because i told her so ---" kuya suddenly stop from talking when ahmm a gorgeous man ?? I guess, went inside
"Excuse me ma'am, sir i'm here for the interview," the gorgeous man with baritone voice said.
Oh my God. He looks so hot with his black office suit. Chocolate brown eyes that can make everyone fall with his stare, a pointed nose, thick eyebrows, long eyelashes and that .. that pinkish lips.
"A-ahh ma'am ??" I was brought back to the trance as he waved his right hand in front of my face.
"Ahh t-take your seat, please," i said as i getsured him to sit down.
"I'll go now, Abry. See you at the house," bro informed me, i secretly rolled my eyes because i know he'll just find someone to play with.
"Sure," I said before looking at the man in front of me.
"Good day, ma'am," he greeted with a big smile on his lips. Why i feel so creepy about his smile?? Geez.
"Good noon. Just call me Ms. Aitana or you can call me on my nickname, Abry."
"Yes, Ms. Aitana," he smiled broadly. Gosh this feeling.
"So, let's start. You are Deshawn Reed Rivera, 26 years of age, graduated in Baliwag State University in the course of BS Business Accountancy." I read his resume before looking at him.
Rivera ?? Sounds familiar ..
"You don't have other job experience?" I asked before leaning back in my swivel chair with the tip of my pen on my head.
"I was once a waiter in Deluxx Restaurant, Ms. Aitana." my mouth formed an "O".
"That's our restaurant managed by my brother, right?" I will ask.
"Yes, Miss. But i don't see him often there." he said. I nodded a few times. Aries visit the restaurant thrice a week maybe they get mixed up.
"So, why should I hire you as my assistant? Give me a perfect answer, Mr. Rivera," I answered quite strictly.
Let's see if you'll pass my first question ...
"I need you to hire me because my mother is in the hospital and I really really need money for my brother's tuition fee. The hospital's admins are hunting me just because I can't pay our bills. We also have debt's to pay. I don't have father because he's bullsh*t, "he answered bravely.
And for that .. I'm impressed. He speaks out what's on his mind unlike the others that are too plastic. And he hit me on the hospital, I really really want to be a doctor but dad pushed me to take Business Ad. let's proceed to the next challenge.
"Nice .. next is make me a coffee .." I ordered and smiled seeing the shock on his face.
"You sure, Miss ??" He asked me so i nodded.
"Yes. There's the coffee maker," I pointed to my side where I could see the view of all the buildings.
"Y-yes miss," he said and went there to brew.
"Miss? What do you like? Black coffee? Espresso? Cream coffee? Or Cappuccino?" he asked, which made me smile even more.
“Choose for me,” I said simply. He acted immediately. Soon after he returns with a small cup. He put it down in front of me.
"Cappuccino for Ms. Aitana," he said and winked at me!
What the? !! H-how ?!
"Don't you like the cappuccino, Ms. Aitana?" he asked smiling.
"No no no. I... I like it ... " Who wouldn't like it? Actually i love it.
"Well that's great!" he said with a big smile. I took a sip from my cappuccino and well i can say that it taste... good.
"Would you hire me now, Ms. Aitana?" he asked. I lowered the cup and smilingly looked at him.
"Well ahh ahmm i can say that you've impressed me, Mr. Rivera. You're now hired." I said. I called the guard and told him to expel the other applicants who were outside because I had already chosen a new one.
"When can I start, Ms. Aitana?" he smiled at the question as if he had won.
"Tomorrow. 8 am sharp."
"Okay, miss. I'll go ahead," I nodded. still shocked by the fact that I have a new assistant. But before the door could close completely, he peeked in and looked at me foolishly.
"By the way, nice boobs," he said and winked at me again!
What the fvck? !!
"What the hell did he say? !! Wahhh did I choose the right one?! Oh my gosh!"
