Chapter 1
Michael's POV
Help! Help! Help! Help!
I heard a girl shouting in the woods at the middle of the night whiles on the run, I think she is being chased for something she did or for whatever reason it does not concern me. I got up from my bed to get myself a glass of water but I was continuously perturbed by the cry of the girl ,so I decided to go take a look at what was happening.
I had walked tiredly to almost the middle of the woods when I saw a middle aged girl running towards me and crying for help ,I quickly took a look at her and saw she was bruised all over her body .She hurriedly told me they are coming, that was when I asked her who and she told some men were chasing after her ,I decided to take her home for the time being to keep her safe for the moment.
Shortly after arriving home I heard violent knocks on my door , I went and took a peep through the door only to see heavily armed men standing there I then mustered courage to open the door .Immediately I opened the door ,they asked if i had seen a young girl around here I quickly told them no,they hesitated but soon took their leave.I closed the door with my heart racing I could not imagine what I would have done if they had seen the girl around.
I hurriedly went to my basement and brought her out, young girl ! I shouted ,you did better start explaining yourself.
Dorothy's POV
Hi, I said to the man who saved me earlier , my name is Dorothy and I am 16 years of age .I could see on the man's face that my self introduction was not quenching his inquiry on why a young girl like me was being chased in the middle of the night .
Okay ,I said, let me get straight to the point . It all started some years back.There is this dangerous organization called MLS ,even the meaning of its name is a mystery .This organization is headed by a man who is as ruthless as a beast ,well his identity and origin is unknown but he runs the largest illegal businesses in the country.
Michael’s POV
So you mean it is this same organization trying to track us down, right? From what you said I am sure they are not people to be messed with in anyway possible.
Dorothy’s POV
Yes you got that right, they are well connected to high officials in the country even the police they got some people under cover working for them. Now let me get to tell you how it all started.
