"Again?"
"Yes, again."
"How long have I been here?"
"Maybe too long"
"I can't remember the last time I was home"
"The last time I slept on a decent bed."
"Or the last time I ate a good food"
"Guess I should keep going"
"Those things will still come and get me"
As Dante stood up a load roar came from the shadows. Stomping sounds loudly echoes throughout the forest. Sounds of hungry creatures can be heard moving closer and closer to Dante.
"Damn, they found me already"
Dante ran as fast as he can, for he knows what will happen if he was to be caught by the monters that he was running away from. He has been running away from them for days now. And he saw what they did to people they took. Not just death, a horrible one. To be eaten alive is not something he wants to be.
What are those things?
People called them "Gluttons", a creature who's only desire is to eat. And there are more of this bizarre creatures. People associated this creature to the seven deadly sins. For this things define the sins. And not only them but the masters that brought them to this world. Demons, creature of pure evil.
As Dante ran, a loud sound rang.
Booooommmmm
Sounds of bombs and firearms loudly filled the silent night. Men and women swinging swords and spears. Going up against the massive "Gluttons", hacking away like mad men. Not afraid of dying. When Dante saw this he was confused. In the days he was here this was the first time he saw people this organized in fighting this things. As he was about to turn his head around to look at what is going on. He saw her there. A beautiful lady wearing a dark purple dress, like a war maiden slowly walking towards him. Holding her sword in one arm and looking at him with her pretty golden color eyes.
It was like a dream to him
A lady that can only be seen in fantasy.
When the lady was in front of him, she said in a mellow and angel like voice.
"Hey, are your ok?"
Dante was a bit stunned at first but he replied.
"Yeah, I fine.... Who are you guys?
" We are survivors, just like you... We have place... We made it safe against the sins.. We detected a large group of Gluttons on the way here so came to exterminate them. The safe haven is just across the river. You could come with is after we kill all this things."
As Dante was pondering on what the purple dress lady was saying a question pops out in his mind.
"Where are we exactly? What is this place called?"
The purple dress lady look at Dante with a bit of confusion in her eyes and said.
" What do you mean?, This is midgard, on Earth"
Dante widden his eyes and said
"Where? Earth?
This is the story of Dante and his adventure to a place with some similar things and yet totally different in some. A place also called Earth...
