Pushing open the luxurious door, one was greeted with a terrifying darkness.
In the room, a slender body lay on the soft bed. As Maddison Clark waited, her heart was pounding crazily in her chest. Her body was trembling due to her nervousness.
Tonight was her first night.
The night where she would trade her virginity for money.
Even so, she traded it at a good price of a hundred thousand dollars.
In order to calm her nerves, she repeatedly told herself, "Maddison, it's alright. It’s just for a night and it’ll be over before you even know it.”
Although she kept comforting herself, she couldn’t help but force a bitter smile on her face. After all, having to trade her body for money was a bitter pill for her to swallow.
Tonight, she would replace another woman to give up her virginity.
She didn't even have the right to know who the man was or what he looked like. Everything would be done in darkness.
Although this was pathetic, she had no choice but to go with it as her mother had fallen ill and needed money urgently.
The door was pushed open again.
Sebastian Matthews strode into the room. He was decked in a black suit, looking as if he was one with the darkness.
After his eyes got used to the dimmed room, he could vaguely see a shadow curled up on the bed.
That person seemed to be staring at him too.
Sebastian smirked and snickered.
He was very pleased to know that the woman on the bed was very sensible.
Thinking that he was forced into this by his parents, he only wanted to get things done as soon as possible and confirmed their so-called relationship as they wished.
In this marriage of convenience, the only advantage that Sebastian would enjoy was having lesser restrictions imposed on him by his parents in the future.
At the thought of this, his heart turned cold and he walked over to Maddison slowly...
Soon, Maddison could sense the presence of the man beside her.
As she looked up nervously, she could vaguely see that the man was taking off his clothes swiftly beside the bed.
Sensing her gaze on him, Sebastian narrowed his eyes before staring at Maddison.
He exuded a cold aura and his overwhelming presence was felt even in the middle of the night.
Maddison tugged on the hem of her shirt anxiously. In an attempt to comfort herself, she thought, "This man doesn't seem too bad. I don't think I'll be at a disadvantage, right?"
Just as she was lost in her thoughts, she could sense the strong presence of the man right in front of her.
Without waiting for Maddison to prepare herself, he lifted the thin fabric off her body and threw it on the floor in the blink of an eye.
"Ah— "
Maddison screamed out in surprise and covered her bare chest instinctively.
However, Sebastian pushed her down unceremoniously and pressed his body on hers.
Before Maddison even recovered from the shock, she could feel an excruciating pain pierced through her body...
She gasped, and tears rolled down her face from the corner of her eyes.
Biting down her lips harshly and not daring to make a sound, Maddison endured the pain in silence.
"Maddison, hang in there. It’ll be over soon."
As she reminded herself of this, the words of the lady whom she made a deal with echoed in her mind,
"Listen, I'm warning you. If you screw it up, I'll make you pay for it tenfold!"
Knowing that she couldn’t afford it, she had to endure all this.
The sheet underneath her was pulled and crumpled into a miserable state by her delicate fingers. Tears were streaming down her face like a quiet rain.
Feeling the warm droplets on the back of his hands, a wave of emotion washed over Sebastian.
Hah, was this woman actually crying?
Could it be that he didn't satisfy her?
After an unknown period, the so-called relation between them finally came to an end with Sebastian letting out a growl.
Apathetically, Sebastian got up and strode to the bathroom.
When Maddison heard the sound of running water, the bitterness in her heart deepened once again.
Everything had finally come to an end.
She rubbed her eyes that were red before putting on her pajamas in a flash. Then she dashed towards the door.
According to the contract, the dealer would pick her up.
After getting out of the presidential suite successfully, she sprinted to the stairs.
Just as Maddison left the room, a figure who was wearing the set of pajamas that was identical to Maddison’s, swiftly entered the room and lay in the bed with her clothes on the floor.
......
After putting on her cheap clothes, Maddison walked out of the five-star hotel that she knew she could never afford under the urging of the receptionist.
At the entrance of the hotel, a black MPV was waiting for her.
Maddison couldn’t walk properly because with each step she took, she could feel a tearing pain from the lower part of her body.
Biting down her lips, she quickened her steps and walked towards the car.
Soon, she would get a hundred thousand dollars and her mother would be saved!
At the thought of this, she heaved a sigh of relief.
When Maddison approached the vehicle, the door opened abruptly and she was dragged into the vehicle violently.
Sitting in the vehicle were four somber-looking men dressed in sunglasses and black suits, as well as the dealer, Ruby Lane.
Maddison held back all her exhaustion and said cautiously, "Ruby, I've done what you told me to. Please give me the money as soon as possible."
Pulling a bank card from her pocket, she handed it over to Ruby gingerly.
"Don't worry and have a drink first." Ruby smiled affably.
Maddison took the bottle and thanked her in a soft voice.
As she gulped down the water, her tense body relaxed a little.
Unbeknown to Maddison, the moment she drank the water, the smile on Ruby's lips deepened.
While maintaining her composure, Ruby instructed the driver, “Go."
It was 1:30 am in the city of Stratham. The car had driven off on streets that were cold and lonely with no one in sight.
Noticing that the car was driving away from the city, Maddison tensed up.
"Ruby, I've already completed my task. Why don’t you transfer me the money first? I need it urgently…"
"Ruby, where are we going?"
Maddison continued asking a few questions, but Ruby turned a deaf ear to them. Instead, she urged the driver to go faster.
The car speeded up and headed towards the suburbs.
Right then, Maddison felt extremely uneasy as if she was in a grip of some unknown fear.
As she turned to look at Ruby, she noticed that there was a wicked quality to her grin and it sent chills down Maddison’s spine.
"Maddie, you know, I don’t think your first time is worth this much money!" Ruby teased.
In that instant, Maddison was stunned. Her eyes widened in surprise and her jaws went slack.
"No, Ruby. You can’t do this to me. You promised to pay me a hundred thousand and we’ve even signed a contract!” Maddison was in a state of disbelief. Anger rippled through her and her lips quivered.
"Oh, the contract. How silly of you to believe in it.”
Taking out a piece of paper, Ruby tore right in Maddison’s face and sneered, "What about this? I’ll pay you according to the market rate, which should be four thousand. This should be enough for you, right?”
