Introduction

In her previous life, Hadarah was weak all her life, and everyone liked the "nice" Yara. Her father said, "Hadarah, you should let your sister, she won't do anything wrong." Her best friend said, "Hadarah, did you bully Yara again? That's not nice." Even the man Hadarah thought she truly loved regarded Yara as the white moonlight of his life. After losing everything, Hadarah returned from the dead and fought against white lotus women, stayed away from men who played with women's emotions, got rid of her best friend, and took back everything that belonged to her. However, just as Hadarah was reborn, she accidentally dominated a big demon king. Just as she was about to sneak away in shame, she was grabbed by the demon king's wrist and said, "Ha, you still want to run?"

Chapter 1

In the darkness, Yara slowly crept towards Hadarah.

Yara, dressed in a white skirt, with her long hair reaching her waist, gracefully clasped her arm. Her features were exquisitely beautiful like a person in a painting.

The room's windows were wide open, and Hadarah was forced to back up against a low window. She had nowhere to run.

The harsh winter wind chilled her to the bone, and Hadarah involuntarily clung to her clothes, looking bewildered at Yara. "Sister, why have you asked me here?" Perhaps sensing the distress in Yara's eyes, Hadarah began to tremble.

"Hmm." Yara crossed her arms, laughing contemptuously, "Even at a time like this, you still call me sister. How can our Joelle family have raised such a fool like you?"

Hadarah stared wide-eyed. "Yara, what are you talking about?"

Yara chuckled coldly, "You're truly an ignorant fool. Let me tell you straight then. Hadarah, do you know why you were chased out of the Joelle family?"

Hadarah felt a sudden pang in her heart, clearly not wanting to recall the past.

Five years ago, someone had drugged Hadarah, and she ended up sleeping with the local thug, Zacchaeus Lee. When Linch Joelle, her father, found out, he was so furious that he threw Hadarah out of the Joelle household. Fortunately, her fiance Yuuma Yam didn't abandon her because of this, and Hadarah married Yuuma, thus having a place to stay.

"I was the one who drugged your drink, so you would end up with Zacchaeus. I also manipulated Zacchaeus into pursuing and harassing you, making Linch think you were loose. " Yara curled her lips in a proud smirk, bereft of innocent purity, all that was left was menacing charm.

Hadarah's mind went blank, "It was you?!"

"Also, you thought Yuuma married you out of love? Humpf, he only wanted the shares in your hands. Who would marry a woman with loose morals if not for the money, it's so embarrassing! So that you know, he is in love with me!"

A chilly wind rushed in through the window, and Hadarah felt numb, too shocked to move. She sluggishly recalled the past, "Why would...you...you're my sister!"

"Puh." Yara laughed, "We're just half-blooded sisters. And you know what, your mother didn't die because of poor health, but because I poisoned her food. It's a shame her daughter is such an ungrateful wretch, still thinking of relying on me."

"You killed Mother?!" The memory of her mother was like a thorn in Hadarah's heart. Enraged, she lunged at Yara, "I will fight you to the end!"

However, Yara was prepared. With a quick sidestep, her right hand grabbed Hadarah's wrist, pushing her back in front of the window.

Firmly controlling Hadarah's hands with one hand, she used her other hand to press down on her neck and force her to look down at the floors below.

"Furthermore, two years ago you didn't miscarry, it was me who had you drink an abortion pill. You're so polluted, how could you bear Yuuma’s child!"

Hadarah couldn't move and was filled with despair, unable to even utter a word.

"Don't worry, you will soon join your incompetent mother. I will prepare your suicide note for you, and everyone will soon know that you committed suicide out of shame when your affair was discovered. Alas and alack, someone like you... wouldn't feel shame..."

"Rest at ease, when you're gone, your shares will go to Yuuma and then, the two of us can live happily together."

Is she going to...?

Jolted with realization, Hadarah looked down the building in horror and began to struggle.

They were on the 31st floor. If she were to fall from here, she would certainly be smashed to pieces!

However, Hadarah hadn't eaten for two whole days, she was considerably weaker than Yara. All of a sudden, she felt her body lighten as a sense of weightlessness swept over her, and the wind sharply cut across her face.

Hadarah closed her eyes in despair as her memories flashed in front of her eyes.

When she was 9 years old, Yara, the illegitimate child, and her mother, who was an adulterer, came to her house and forced Hadarah's mother to make way. Poor Hadarah's mother passed away soon after. Hadarah thought her mother passed away because of illness, she never expected that Yara would murder her.

Though she did not like her stepmother, Jane, she treated Yara as a real sister and shared everything with her. When she met Yuuma in college, she thought she had found true love. The first thing she did after meeting him was to introduce Yuuma to Yara, unaware that these two would soon collude behind her back.

What followed was the scandal when she slept with some riffraff. At that time, Yuuma comforted her and still wanted to marry her. She thought that Yuuma truly loved her and after their marriage, she devoted herself wholly to being a housewife. Even when her mother-in-law made things difficult, she would humbly placate her.

To think that...all it was, was a plot!

Just for the shares she held!

Hadarah regretted it terribly. Why didn't she see the true faces of Yara and Yuuma sooner, leading to her current predicament?

If she had a second chance, she would bring these two down herself!

In just a few short seconds, with a "bam," everything came to an end.
