Chapter One
I heaved a sigh as I looked at my reflection in the mirror, I am wearing a beige-colored bodycon dress topped with white cardigan and paired with white stilettos.
I turned around carefully observing if there are folded parts on the dress, I am heading to Cruise’s residence for an interview, and I want my dress to speak for itself.
“Are you all set, Alessia? You have been checking yourself in front of the mirror for quite some time already, your going to be late,”
I turned around and smiled nervously at my mom, “Is my look already ok mum? I don’t want them having bad impressions on me because I don’t look good,”I worriedly stated.
She sighed and walked towards me, she fished my hands and held it tight, “Don’t be nervous ok? You already look good, just don’t stress yourself that much, if you won’t get hired that’s alright there are still many chances.”
I nearly cried with what my mum said but tried not to, my makeup would be ruined. I hugged her tight and thanked her.
“You should go, the Cruise’s might be waiting for you already,” I nodded at her and grabbed my bag.
I arrived at the Cruise’s residence at approximately 20 minutes.
I stared at the large black gate in front of me, the house is quite huge, well, what would I expect? They’re one of the richest families in the town.
“Are you the nurse?”
My gaze shifted to an old lady who suddenly popped in front of me. I blinked my eyes several times before speaking,”Y-yes I am.”
She eyed me from head to toe and nodded slowly, “Follow me.”
The huge gate opened revealing a huge modern yet classic house.
We stopped at the huge front door, I noticed everything on this house is huge, I wonder how much money they spent on this.
The doors opened and a lady, which I bet was in her mid-40's, welcomed us and beside him was a man on a wheelchair and his eyes were different.
“Here she is, ma’am,”the old lady said and left.
“G-good morning ma’am, I am-“
I didn’t finish what I was about to say when I heard her chuckle, “You looked tense. Just relax Alessia my son and I won't bite you, right Andrius?”She eyed the man on the wheelchair but we didn’t hear any response.
“Anyways, have a seat Alessia. We’ll talk about your job.”
We sat down on the couch, “Without any further ado your job is to become my son’s private nurse.”
I nodded,”You will be the one to remind him of his medications, and such. You will be with him until the day of his operation. Alright?”
“Got it ma’am.”
“Alright, I’ll leave the two of you together so you can get to know each other since you will be with each other for 2 months,”
“Uhm, I’m Ale-“
“I’m not interested.”
“Whether you’re interested or not I’ll introduce myself. I am Alessia Harriet, a 21-year old nurse and I will be your personal nurse for 2 months.”
“Go talk with my hand,”he rudely remarked.
This guy is getting on my nerves already but I need to extend my patience especially that we see each other often.
I just hope I can take his rudeness.
