" Hey Sandra you kept me waiting, and now I have decided to come to you why aren't you dressed yet?" Joy asked her friend once she entered Sandra's home.
" Sorry I wanted to call and cancel because something has come up, my mom left me all the chores and I have to finish before I can go anywhere, because tomorrow she has visitors coming over." Sandra explained to her friend
" It's okay since am here I can lend you a hand and maybe we could finish Abit early," Joy said standing up and they both worked while listening to their type of music.
Though they were both different in personality they had some common things and both of them had an understanding that not many friends have because each of them had different friends but they still remained best of friends even years later.
" Joy thanks for coming I was worried how to tell you I wasn't taking you to town considering you asked me a week ago, am sorry I ruined your day." Sandra said to Joy after they had completed all the chores but Joy was looking very tired.
" It's okay I feel my day is well spent your mom will be happy with you, I will send my sister Nickal even you know how she can get when buying stuff she'll make a better choice than I would so it's all good." Joy answered
" Yeah I know she's always out spoken and she's very strong spirited most of the time even I doubt you are twins you're very opposite but I like that you get along even with your differences.
I wouldn't know how to cope ,for along time even she makes alot of effort to communicate with me.
It's like we are always on the show very dramatic if I may say so" Sandra said and both of them laughed.
" I get tired pretending I walk away when the tides change but you always relate with everyone how they present themselves while I am always me I always believe in being myself." Joy said casually
" Anyway tell me what's new with you are you okay ?" Sandra asked seriously
" Yes am okay but I think I want to move out of home ,
Staying there is getting hard and I don't think anyone would mind I think they would be happy if I move out." Joy said and sighed sadly
" Is it that bad what happened again did you and your dad fight again or what happened?" Sandra asked anxiously
She always envies her friend but in times like this she pities her
" Yes he asked me to move out or never go out for any reason, but staying at home I would go crazy considering everyone is at home and I don't get to say anything my cousin is moving out so I was thinking of moving with her and I would get to experience life without their protection and rules and maybe I would find alittle peace and happiness." Joy said and sighed again
" Are you sure that is a good idea you just finished high school you haven't even started college yet what about your future." Sandra asked Joy very worried
" Well I will be fine first thing first , you know me I will be fine." Joy said
" You got me and if you need anything you can always come to me or move here if you can't handle it anymore do you understand?" Sandra said hugging her friend
" Thanks now I have to go will call you tomorrow, say hi to your mom when she comes." Joy said while standing
Sandra saw her off .
