I glanced at my wristwatch.
My prof is so lifeless when discussing.
Damn it, why can't she just give us seatwork or homework or even a quiz?
Just the sound of her voice makes me very weary and bored to death...
I once again glanced at my watch and it is annoying that 5 minutes feels like 5 hours.
For Pete's sake, it is still 2:50 pm.
Are the hands of time a turtle or something?
I sighed surrendering and just dozed myself off to sleep...
I woke up with the sound of the bell.
Thank goodness, I can't miss the show later.
I hummed with glee as I walked out of the room.
...
“How could you two do this to me, Drake! I trusted you! Both of you! Of all people, why my best friend huh!” the girl shouted, as the pain was evidently written on her face.
“Anna please, not here,” the guy said to hush her, holding her elbow as he tried to pull her away from the crowd.
That girl, Anna harshly pulled away and slapped him in an instant.
“Not here!? You are even ashamed of what you did yet you have the balls to cheat! Where is that bitch!? Damn you both, I’m going to pull her hair to bald!”
Oh dear, this is fun. I stretched my legs as I leisurely sat on the bench from afar, holding a cold carton of my favorite chocolate milk and enjoyed the popcorn I bought from the cafeteria.
I adjusted my nerdy glasses and wig. I musingly watched it like a scene in the movie, the heated argument of the couple in the middle of the school quadrangle.
I glanced at my watch as I did a little countdown.
Five.
Four.
Three.
Two.
One…
“Stop it, Anna! You know that Drake doesn’t love you anymore, you just can’t accept it!” Lilian, the best friend, butt in the scene looking anxious.
“You are making a scene here, Anna. We can talk this out privately,” Drake said trying to ease the tension.
“You snake! You are indeed shameless! Come here, I’m going to kill you!” Anna replied blinded with fury.
“Just accept it. I am the love of his life now,” she replied as she linked her arms with Drake’s which infuriated Anna even more.
“You whore!!!” Anna exclaimed as she rushed towards Lilian’s direction and pulled her hair.
“What the f— Let me go!!!” Lilian shockingly replied as they pulled each other’s hair.
Drake, trapped in the middle of the catfight tried to separate the two girls but to no avail.
My lips twitched with amusement as I anticipated a little more drama to come.
“Wait up, buttercup there is more to reveal,” I mumbled in a singsong voice.
I sent few photos from my burner phone as my exciting surprise for the couple.
Minutes later, a girl rushed to Anna and slapped her.
“Acting like the sole victim is too much, eh? You think you can hide your lover by gaining the sympathy of the crowd?! ” the girl exclaimed with fiery eyes.
Anna, looking shocked and confused stuttered as she replied, “W-what are you talking about?”
“You can’t solely have Drake, so you stole my boyfriend!? I even treated you as my friend! ” the girl revealed with some pictures of Anna and her boyfriend hugging from her phone that made the crowd shocked.
I just watched them with a satisfied look on my face as I rested my chin at the back of my hand.
Now, for the main course…
“We were only comforting each other because you were impregnated by a different guy!” Anna retorted with a triumphant smile plastered on her face.
The susurrus gossips circulated to the students passing by.
“N-no, it is not true! Your lies cannot cover up the truth that you stole my boyfriend too!” the girl looked pathetic and blood suddenly drained from her face.
“Well, I have proofs too, Agatha, ” Anna replied finally regaining her composure.
She shoved in Agatha’s face a few pieces of evidence that I sent earlier, proving that Agatha is pregnant with a different lover.
Got wearied by my former position, I rested my back on the wall and crossed my arms to be more comfortable.
I saw on my peripheral vision that Lilian and Drake are silently escaping while Anna is busy dealing with Agatha.
Uh…oh. Not so fast, my pawns.
Anna saw it and she rushed towards them.
“And you, Lilian and Drake, don’t you dare escape from this humiliation!” she exclaimed and managed to pull Lilian’s hair before they can escape.
So much for ruining the epic moment, a member of the student council meddled which stopped the whole commotion.
Just in time, I received a message which made me curse and dropped the empty carton of my chocolate in a hurry.
