Lighted torches are leading the whole troops of rebel on their way to the kingdom of Lotus, the fallen kingdom, which is under the supervision of Demiprose's special army.
On their hands are deadly weapons, such as axes, a bow and arrow or a sword and a torch. Some of them even brought a flag. A white cloth with an embroidered flower of Lotus in the middle.
The leader of the rebels is a man, his pure black hair has grown and reached his shoulders. He's wearing a shabby hat on his head, and a black mask to hide his face completely. The so-called untamed beast of Curious valley.
A notorious killer from the Curious valley, who's rumored to be the mastermind with the Golden Wheel incident. Where a group of Demiprose soldiers together with accompanied with an envoy from the kingdom of Demiprose, died on the way to the kingdom.
According to the rumor, he is the hero of Lotus. People who are in the captive of Demiprose kingdom, are hoping that one day, he will come and save the kingdom of Lotus.
And it finally happened, tonight.
Beside him is the lady, her brown wavy hair is pony tailed and there are lotus ornaments her hair as designs, but all of those are dangerous. Her lower face is hidden behind a red cloth, leaving her eyes to be seen alone. When she looks at men, they easily get seduced and then, that's when she kills them mercilessly.
They call her the enchantress of death. She's the lover of the untamed beast, and they are leading a troop of rebel to end the madness of the Demiprose kingdom.
They are marching towards the southern gate of the kingdom, where the security is not as tight as the other gates.
It is foggy on that part of the kingdom every midnight, so they took it as a chance to come inside the kingdom's premise.
When they reached the gate, the untamed and the enchantress stepped forward, revealing themselves from the dark.
"Who are you?" A well armored man, one of the guards of the gate, speak up. He put his chin up and look at them fearlessly.
"What business are you going to attend—ack!" He puke blood after being hit hardly on her chest.
The other guards came to him and tried to figure out what happened, but the first one lost his consciousness and died instantly.
Then his neck started to bleed.
"Assassins!" The second guard shouted, while pointing his long sword on the two.
The guards from the inside and from the top of the wall showed up and started attacking them.
"Attack!" The enchantress commanded, after dodging an arrow using a sword from her waist.
"Be careful." The untamed said before running towards the guards.
The enchantress smirk, behind the cloth, and then follow him. "I'm more careful than you are." She said to the untamed before stepping on his back and attacking a guard from the air.
"Reckless." The untamed said.
"Rude." The enchantress said while staring at the untamed. She step over the dead body and then followed him inside the opened gate. "This is weird."
"Really weird. The southern gates are more guarded than before." The untamed turn his head over his shoulder and look at the enchantress. "Did they get a hint on our attack?"
"Beats me, Loren." She said and then turn around. "Rebels, former people of Lotus, show yourselves and avenge our kingdom's fall!" She shouted.
The untamed stand beside her and then tap her right shoulder. "We will win this time."
The enchantress look at him, her lips formed a smile, even if it is behind the cloth, the untamed noticed. He removed his mask and planted a kiss on her forehead and then hug her. "I'll make sure to marry you once we claim what's ours. Marionette."
The enchantress giggled, and then step away from him. "We have a battle to win, let's talk about the wedding when we have our victory."
He nod his head. "Sure." Before putting his mask on his face again. He turn around and started walking towards the first town's back entrance.
The troops of rebel also followed his lead and scattered around the town. They surely want to end everything this time, because this is their last chance to claim everything back.
Ten years ago...
"Are you sure you will enter the palace?" The old woman asked a young lady, like she's doubting her decision.
The fine young lady nod her head slowly, "Yes, madame." She answered with respect. Both of her hands are in front, intertwined.
She's wearing a blue dress that reaches the ground. Her hair is full of gold ornaments, and she's wearing an expensive shoes.
"As a maid of His Majesty?" The madame ask again. She set her eyes on her, from head to toe. "You look like a young lady of a prestigious family."
The lady's smile suddenly fade. "Oh crap. Why did I forgot about it?" She said on her mind. She immediately return the smile on her face and shook her head. "No, madame. I just wear this to make an impression for this interview."
The old madame nod her head slowly, convincing herself with the answer of the young lady in front of her.
"Really!" Her eyes suddenly widened and she plastered a small smile on her lips. "I actually spend... A lot of lilac for this attire, madame." And in a split of second, her expression became different.
She lowered her eyes and look at the ground, she bit her lips and sniff, she looks down. She was about to cry when the madame speak again.
"Alright, you're hired. But we still need to filter the people who will be passed to be his Majesty's personal maid." The old madame gave her a lotus pin.
It is a pin that has a certain lotus design. The design depends on the department where they are asking to be in to. As for her, it is a green maiden lotus.
A smile appeared on the lady's lips, after passing over the gate of the palace.
"Loren, I am not going to leave again. I will make my promise come true." She said on her mind while staring at the broad man, standing on the entrance of the main palace. "To protect you even if it costs my life."
His tall height compliments his body figure. He's not as well built as his guards, but he is fit enough to make the summer more hot.
"Greetings, your Majesty." The young ladu bow her head and then smiled at the King, when she reached the door.
The King's eyes squinted when their eyes met. But he immediately turn his eyes off of her. "Excuse me." He said.
"He ignored me." The lady said on her mind while looking at the King. She immediately put her eyes away when the old madame came to get her.
"Let's go, young lady." The old madame hold her wrist before turning to the King's direction. "Apologies for distracting you, Your Majesty. We'll excuse ourselves." She said and then drag her away from the King's sight.

After the elimination round. The lady—or let's call her Hailey, get the job effortlessly. Because she was like a gifted maiden who came from the heaven. A perfect maid servant for the King, according to the Palace's head madame.
"Help His Majesty with his meal, Hailey." The same old madame, who's named Aurora, ordered her.
"Yes, Madame." Hailey said politely and immediately walk out of the madame's eye.
She's with two more maids. The one who have the dessert is looking at her suspiciously, her name is Mia. And the other one who have the appetizer is admiring her from behind, her name is Lei. While she's the one who has the main course.
When they reach the chamber of the King, they greeted in chorus. Hailey walk towards him and started serving him.
"You are my new personal maid?" The king suddenly ask her. His eyes squinted, familiarizing himself to the woman in front of him.
"Yes, Your Majesty." She said and then look at him in the eyes, while smiling.
The king was set back in shock. "Don't lay your eyes on me." He ordered, uncomfortably and then started eating.
Her mood suddenly go down. "Yes, Your Majesty." Hailey nod her head and lowered her eyes.
The king look up to her. "Don't look at me."
Hailey set her eyes on the food she's serving him to avoid making an eye contact with him.
"The two of you." The king turn his head to Lei and Mia. "You can go back to your works."
The two maids look at each other with confusion. As for Hailey, she just roll her eyes and started cursing him on his head. "Seriously, Loren? What now?"
"Your name?"
Hailey look at the king, who's lazily eating a chicken thigh.
"Hailey." She shortly answered, and then started serving again. "Which one do you want, your Majesty?"
"This." He pointed a fish that Hailey immediately serve to his plate. "Anyway, may I know who you are?"
"Hailey, Your Majesty." She repeated coldly.
"No..." The king shook his head and then put his right hand on his chest. "I mean, yes you are Hailey and I am Loren. But, what are you?"
"What I am?" Hailey asked herself. She look at him with confusion. "What do you mean, your Majesty?"
"I am a King, and you are?"
"A servant."
The king, Loren, closed his eyes and form his hand into a fist, like he's irritated. "You are not just a maid servant, Hailey."
"Huh?" She acted dumbfounded. "What the hell? I thought he has forgotten about me?" She ask on her mind while looking at the King.
"I am Loren, a King, and no one dares to look at me in my eyes. Not even my prideful and greedy mother. Now, tell me. Hailey, who are you?"
