I liked this story,if u really analyze the content of the story it's not all about abusing the woman or she's weak, it's just that there's a misunderstanding between the two lovers at the first time they met as a husband and wife. though there's a part of a story that's so abusive but I understand the author coz every person has there own unique style in writing. well if u dont like this story then dont read it nobody force u! that's why there's a lot of stories here which u can u choose.J S

Making Shelton out to be the bad guy for Patrick doesn't work for me. He's done a lot for Charlotte even accepted her son, helped her leave & get a new identity. While Patrick treated him like crap once he thought he was Shelton's son with Charlotte. I feel bad for Kelsi but at least he had a far better marriage to him than Charlotte did. I'd rather see Charlotte alone. What has Patrick done to deserve another chance? This is sad why women always choose the one who hurt them for fun for years.

Everything has to do with you asshole! Because you, as her husband just stood there and believed what your mistress said instead of investigating (which you were capable of) what happened. But you just blindly allowed your mistress to do whatever she pleases. So everything has to do with you! What a scumbag!. And of course just like all of the other stories in here, she's going to forgive him and still love him and they'll end up together.

Why all of these dumb authors think that by dragging a story in nonsensical way make the story interesting!! We readers are not dumb that we cry with an idiot female lead again & again by thinking how innocent & miserable she is! All the heroines in these novels always broke up with their husbands & immediately tangled with another man to be tortured again. Don't they have any ability to fight on their own!Why they always need a man,who is romantically involved with her,beside them?
