my name is Ashley backers and this is my story,
it was the night of the 22nd of October 1967 I was at a sleepover at a friend's house her name is Jamie
Jamie has always been the weird one of the group. when she first showed up at school I was very much scared of her well I think we all were
she had this aura it was something usual but after getting to know her she became someone normal to me tho
we were practically best friends.
we were a group of four it was me , Jamie , Brandy and Loni . we've all had sleepovers at each other's places and this time it was Jamie's turn
I planned it out with her for weeks, she was much excited cause it was her first over sleep over and get this "it was without parents super vision" I mean four girls alone to do shit can this sleep over get any better " my excitement knew no bounds .
I had no idea why Jamie's parents weren't around , I don't actually think I have ever met them ,she never talks about them much but well I guess it her business .
The day had finally come and we were all really much excited we texted about it for weeks .. we did created a WhatsApp group chat for that purpose ,... "too much ?? uhm hell no"
At Jamie's house
Brandy brought over popcorns and some drinks " it was nothing alcoholic, I swear on your life"
we binged watched horror movies ranging from Anabelle doll ,IT , conjuring , Chucky and much more
we shared urban tales and stayed awake for hour's
I was pretty much spooked I was practically shaking" can we go to be already " I yelled out with a tired face yawning
it was past 3 am. Lani agreed with me
"....chicken!!!! buck buck buck" we got mocked by brandy and Jamie but then decided to go to bed either ways
just about when we were about the sleep Jamie's decides she has something to say .
laying on her back facing the ceiling she said "do you know that this is the witching hour" confused, Loni asked " Tf do you mean by witching hour . Jamie smiled wearily and decides not to scare us even move
she turns over to her side and sleeps, we all eventually do.
the night was quiet and cold the moon was out , it was a very wonderful night untill we got awoken by a banging on the door .It was a continuous loud bang. Loni looked at Jamie and asked " do you think those are your parents are they back already..?"
Jamie confused couldn't really give an answer and that scared us even more brandy wasn't really scared she stood up and walked over to the door ,we all creeped behind her and walked stealthy "it's probably the neighbors" brandy said" you know we were pretty loud especially you ash "
we actually were loud when we watched the movie so maybe she was right
whilst we were doing all this the banging kept on happening .
Taking in a deep breath Brandy opens the door , There was nothing but the cold gust of wind that came blowing in . "....Seee it was nothing can we go to bed now , it was probably something banging up against the door as you can see it very windy outside..." said brandy , we shut the door and went back into bed .
we got tucked back into bed the time was 3:40, am. we chatted a little bit to clear out mind and eventually fell back asleep not long after we were awoken by a screeching noise coming out of the wardrobe, and then crying at that point I had lost it all I covers myself up and started to cry . i open up the covers and I could see Brandy , Jamie and Loni looking at something ,they were all crying trying very hard to open the door ,but for some reason it was jammed in shut .
I looked over at were their eyes were and there she was I immediately had Sweat streaks around my face
there stood a shadowy feature , it was a woman in a white dress
her face looking pale, a hollowed hole for where her eyes are supposed to be
her lips dried and thin
it was as tho I was looking at a skeleton
we were all scared. she was in the room in with us.
I tried to run but I couldn't , tried screaming but my voice was lost I was paralyzed by my own fear
she came to my face screaming "... LEAVE LEAVE,.. I WOULD KILL YOU.."
I managed to move ,picked up my flash light and turned it on .At that moment she dis appeared , I turned around over to were my friends were but they were all dead . Blood splashes in the room Jamie's head was on the other side of the room , Brandy throat was slit opened and Loni had her intestines out on the floor she looked as tho she had exploded .
All I could remember was there piercing screams while I laid frozen in bed
I couldn't explain what happened. With teary blurred eyes I stood up and tried to leave banging on the door and forcing the handle to open,but it wasn't budging I grew even even more scared and frustrated
but she came back the woman was back Right through the door Startled I fell on my back and started to shift slowly away from her, she came close smiled and grabbed me by ankles ,I screamed and cried for help my fingers nails broken by wood as I scratched and tried to hold anything that could help release her hold
but it was all to no good
grabbed by my ankle and pulled into the dark abyss
Screaming I woke up clutching the sheets I was visibly shaking, it was a bad dream after all .
Brandy, Loni and Jamie were already up when I screamed , they ran over and hugged me making me feel all better.
I never shared the night mare with them cause if it scared me the way it then I could only wonder how they would feel.
P.S that was the last time I went for a sleepover ".. Never Again..."
