Chapter 1

PREFACE.

I still remember the territory where I formerly called home.

I recall the fierce look on The Alpha's face as he proclaimed my family rogue.

I still remember the look of genuine agony that crossed my father's face, and I vividly remember having to watch my mother die right before my own very eyes.

I can remember watching my father lose his sanity after that. And I can remember the last time I saw him before he faded away; leaving me all alone.

I can remember feeling completely hopeless and lost. And I vividly remember making it through the outskirts of the life I was born into, and into one that I've always admired.

I remember rejecting my wolf, and shoving her away; feeling absolutely no remorse.

I still remember how happy, and peaceful I felt in the human world. Finding myself back again.

Until...

I was caught, and pulled back into the life I abandoned years ago.

I have been here for too long.

Dragged against my consent, and stripped down of power. Then put into chains, for a crime they all believe me to have committed, and yet I have no slightest idea of.

I move across the hallways with looks of hatred, and resentment following me. And I move amidst them with men either wanting to tear me from limb to limb, or bury their cock deep inside me till all I feel is pain; either way— they still want me to suffer.

I've promised myself that I will make it through this hell that I'm forcefully dragged into; I will endure every suffering. I'll bite down on my tongue, and resist each urge to fight back. And I'll pay no attention to every look of hatred.

I may have lost my wolf years ago, but it still lives in me. And I feel things more than a mere human can. I see, and hear things that are beyond a typical human's ability; It may not be as strong as having my wolf with me, but it's enough to get me through.

This is why I do not understand the pulsing desire I feel deep within me anytime he gets too close to me.

The same man hates me for too many reasons, and have me punished severely too many times.

The same man that had me chained.

The same man that brought about my suffering.

The same man that I loathe more than I've ever loathed anyone.

The same man with a woman that equally hates me, by his side.

The Ruthless, Scary, Alpha King.

Why do I want him to push me against his will, and bury his cock deep inside me till the only sound that falls from my lips are moans, and at the same time want to inflict the same pain he's given me, on him?

Do I say it's my senses messing with me, or as a result of staying away from men too long?

Either way, I plan on staying away from the Feral Alpha.

Even when it seems completely impossible.

EXCERPT 1.

He pushes me against the cold rough surface of the wall, his glare pinning me down, and nothing but silent fury dancing around the orbs of his shiny blue eyes.

Fear rises in me, and my heart begins to beat at a fast pace as I stare boldly, yet highly nervously into the eyes of the big, bad, scary Alpha King. But the huge desire to stand my ground have me scowling back at him.

"You do not disrespect me, Wolf. Do you understand me?"

He speaks in the gentlest of voices, but that doesn't hide away the authority and power in his words. Strong enough to have any man backing down.

"And you do not tell me what I can't or cannot do, " I tell him boldly, chest heaving as I hold his gaze. "You kidnap me from my world, and forcefully drag me into this messy world of yours without my consent. Yet, you want me to respect you? Sorry, not sorry, but that isn't how things work for me. "

Wrong choice of words.

No longer had the words leave my lips, my barely—holding—tightly—unto—life— dress follows and a gasp flies past my parted lips as I gaze down at my naked skin.

"As I said, Wolf, " He interrupts, groping my chin in his palm tightly and forcefully, almost dislocating it and a wince escapes my throat from the unmerciful action. "You do not disrespect me. Now, Kneel. "

EXCERPT 2.

Noise.

Noise has always been something I greatly dislike. The ability of those merely five—lettered—ugly—words to make me lose focus so easily, has always been something I hated.

This is why I'm currently boring holes into space; teeth clamping against each other in annoyance.

Hushed whispered. Mockery murmurs, and most of all pointed looks of hatred... All directed at me as I stare around the big space that surrounds me.

I see, and sense altogether.

I see hatred.

I sense the desire to kill.

I see irritation.

I sense rage burning in flames.

I see lusted gazes,

And I SENSE desire to claim beneath those ugly emotions.

Too many emotions... Too much anger in the room that makes me want to cower away from this place, and hide at a corner, but my desire to prove them wrong—that they do not scare me—have me holding my head up high; hands outstretched in chains as I wait for the arrival of the so-called Alpha King.

I feel before I see.

I feel the change in the atmosphere.

I feel the change in the voice, and I feel the change in the sound from a complete disaster of noise to total silence.

Everywhere goes silent, as the door opens, and a man that looks old enough to be my brother steps through the door; an aura of authority surrounding him.

He gazes across the room for a few minutes before stepping on the levelled ground—standing above me.

Our gaze meets for few minutes before he looks away—suddenly bowing. And I need not no man to tell me the man have arrived.

The aura in the room changes once again, and I resist the urge to glance back at who this so-called powerful man is.

"Alpha King. "

The man that arrived previously murmurs, and the Alpha steps on the levelled ground beside him, hands stretched to his neck.

"You have betrayed your pack, Wolf. "

Are the first words that leave his mouth as I meet him square in the eyes, and I try to resist the urge to curse at him and let him know here, or any other is no pack of mine.

"You have betrayed your kind by working with the humans—creating powerful inventions that could be the end of us all— and you shall be punished for it. You will be chained, and stripped down of power. You will be treated worse than an omega, and you will pay back... Everything you've caused us. "

Finality and authority lie in his words. Irritation, and hatred, the only emotions in his tone.
