" Happy birthday to you sis" I heard the voice of my senior sister loud and clear as I walked out of my room with so much happiness and joy all over me. I was so happy with what the day was about to say to me.
" Finally am eighteen already" I was so happy that day with my new age and what would come of me at that time of my life. My sister was so happy for me as I just handed over a bag to me which I tore apart with joy with my every movement I was so delighted about everything.
" Wow," I was so happy with what my eye saw in the bag. It was a beautiful necklace with a werewolf on it which looks just like the moon goddess Selena.
Sorry for not introducing myself. Am Crystal Moon the second daughter and last born of the Moon family. My family belongs to the Omega group in the Dana pack whereby we are taken as one of the weak people in the whole pack since almost all of us got Rejected which started with my mom then to my sister and now am the last hope of the family not to get Rejected by anyone. I just wish to the moon goddess I get one of the best people as a mate and not a cruel person this time. One important part of me is I love having the male company to the female which made me a stronger head Omega than the others in the pack.
" So where's Enzo?" I asked with a smile on my face and as happiness filled my heart and soul for that particular day.
" I think he would come around later since he's always busy with one thing or the other leading his clan," Ash said as he gave me a peck on my forehead.
Ash was the only sister I had since our mother died a long time ago leaving us both to suffer the cruel pack she gave birth to My father was once the leader of another pack but we were rejected from there also so we had to stay at our mother's family pack and suffer everything that showed up in the pack but the hatred and discrimination.
In my town rejection was a normal thing that almost all the young girls here face every single time but the rejection mostly comes to the Omega girls cause other clansayys we are too weak to fight for ourselves and most of the males are from the alpha and beta pack which always break our heart in our main pack but still we live while some just decide to take their life and die like an animal whose value is worthless. This same act happened to my sister on her18ths birthday, one of the strongest of the gamma pack Rejected her cause she would be weak when she came to their lack but now I stand to help the family not to get rejected and get the best mate that has ever lived in the Dana pack with the help of my moon goddess.
" Ash, can I ask you for something?" I questioned as my sister who was in the kitchen screeched out a positive response to me.
" How can I get my mate?" I asked which made my sister laugh so hard from inside I don't equally know what was making her laugh so hard at my question. I believe each question asked should get either a positive or negative reply but now my sister just wasn't ready to give me a reply so I just had to ask one more time but this time she was outside the kitchen with a meal for myself and her and placed it on the table at my front.
" When your mate calls up for you, you would know without my help," She said as she handed one of the spoons she held in her hands at that moment. I just looked at her as she gave me a smirk which was equally from her heart but at that point, everything in my head was how I would get my mate either by hook or crook.
" What was your experience?" I asked Ash has she was busy eating up her food. My sister quickly ate the one in her mouth and gave another laugh I just couldn't get my eye away from her till I got an answer.
" Scent and moonlight," she said to me as she continued her meal the aroma from the dish was already killing me deep down but I just wanted an answer first of all before trying to eat up anything called food.
" So that means my mate is in the food?" I opened my eyes looking at Ash as she did the same to me without a laugh but this time a look that said ' Hope this girl does not doesuck could just figure it out from how she glanced at me then.
and " You are weird on the day you turned eighteen " Ash carried her plate with a little to nothing size of meal on it leaving me all alone in the sitting room while I carried up my meal and ate still imagining how handsome my mate would be and rich plus famous he would be.
All my thought was about when I would get my mate. As the day ran by I prayed for the evening to come closer so I could meet the guy that I had kept waiting for all this while so I would leave my sister and stay with my guy this time. Finally, the evening came and I still couldn't get a scent of anything except the aroma of food my sister was busy cooking in the kitchen for dinner.
I walked up to my sister in the kitchen ." By what time would I see my mate?" I asked with a sobbing voice as my sister just looked at me with another smile on her face as she placed her hands on my shoulder.
" Sooner or later," my sister said to me with her always supporting voice." Just help me clean up the sitting room before am done with this meal," she said returning to view her pot as I walked out of her with a smile on my face.
" Whose there?" I heard a knock on my apartment door as I arranged the table and chairs in order back to their original position. Immediately I walked to the door and twist the knob to get a surprise.
