Camila's Point of View
Here I am signing some contracts inside my office. I am alone and tired. So I planned to take a rest for a while, I'm was resting when my phone rings.
I quickly snatched my phone on the top of my paper works and answer it without looking at the caller ID.
"Who's this? " I greeted. Yeah, that's how sweet I greeted someone who's ruining my peace.
I heard someone laugh in the other line. My brows raised. I was about to talk when the caller stopped laughing and started to make my confusion vanished.
"Well hello there! My dear daughter! "Dad greeted and that made me calm.
"Oh, I thought your someone stupid laughing at his ass. " I said and that made him laugh. I just rolled my eyes.
"You didn't try to read the caller ID, don't you daughter? " he joked and that made me rolled my eyes again. Of course, he knew, he's my father after all.
"Whatever father, so why did you call? Did you know that you're ruining my peace?! " I irritatedly said. He chuckled.
"Well sorry for ruining your peace my dear daughter. By the way, I called because today you will meet the engineer I hired," he said.
"Oh. What time would he arrive? "
"15 minutes," he said shortly.
"oh okay. By the way father, how's my pretty daughter with his grandparents? "
"Your daughter's fine with us. She's so cute and lovely as you. Your mother pinch her cheeks every minute and gave her a lot of chocolates. I stopped her but she secretly gave her grandaughter some when I am not around. "
"What the? Dad stops mom from giving chocolates to my daughter. My daughter's teeth will have cavities! " I said hysterically.
"I tried to. But your mother is so stubborn! " dad says hardly.
"ugh, I will talk to her when I came home. Just dad please stop her, okay? " I said.
"Okay, sweetie. I'll hang up now. Bye."
"Okay dad, bye. Send my kiss to my daughter. " I said and end the call. After that, I heard a knock on my door. The door opened revealing my secretary.
"Ma'am? " she called out. I look at her.
"Yes, Marilyn?"
"Someone wants to talk to you, ma'am. He said he's the engineer," she said.
"oh let him in. " I said and she nodded. She went out.
After she went out I fixed some of my paper works. I piled it up and I heard the door opened then close.
I was about to say something when I heard a very familiar voice that made me stunned.
"Baby. "
