"It's the start of the year, and now what is my plan for this year? Another album? Date? Or a vacation?" The man kept walking back and forth on the balcony.
[TV flashes a commercial]
[It's been a long year, why won't you try to have a vacation in a warm and relaxing place? Come and visit our newest tourist destination because "IT'S MORE FUN IN THE XXX City!"]
The commercial catches his attention and watches the scenery and advertisement, later on he starts scrolling on his smartphone checking out the tourist spots and the nearby places.
"Hmmm... XXX City? I've never been there." It just took a few seconds for him to decide.
So that's it! He booked a ticket to come and visit in the XXX City for the first time!
Meanwhile...
"No! I don't want to!" the young woman protests.
"But you have to my girl, there's no way you can escape the marriage between you and Jonathan" said the older woman who happens to be her aunt.
"I thought you won't interfere with my personal life?" She immediately replied in an angry voice.
"Yes, I told you that before, not when Jonathan wanted you to be his wife" with a tone don’t doesn’t falter.
"I don't love him!"
"You have to marry him! That's all you can do to pay all your debts on us!" and now, she started to raise her voice, intimidating the younger woman.
"All my life I thought you've treated me as if I'm your own child?" she looks at her straight into her eyes like trying to convince her to call the marriage out.
"My, my, don't look at me like that. You're the only one who can save us! Who can save our business?"
"Our business? Is it more important than me?" Is the business much more important than me?
"It is the reason why we were able to send you to college, to feed you and everything!" Now she's counting all those things she has given, she can’t believe that she was taking them into account.
"I know but, No way! I'd rather be an old maiden than to marry that asshole!" It was unusual for her to use such words, that it caused a frown to crease the older woman’s forehead and wrinkles started to show.
"Watch your mouth young lady! This ends our conversation, no more buts!" She cut her out immediately, turned around then shut the door.
Now the younger woman was left all alone in her room. She reached for her pillow and hugged it tightly. She gripped hard on her blanket with determined eyes.
“I won’t let them have their way on me.”
