Prophesy is a book by Descendant. It centers around an 18 year old Ava who believes she killed one Jayden Sergio years back, this was all because of a deadly element which made it’s way into earth, the Veranium. At the beginning of the book we get to know Ava isn’t spared for having the Veranium under her possession as she is being hunted by a researcher who had walked with her dad years back

Isabella Hart plays a major role as she’s the silent antagonist, an ex best friend to Ava who had witnessed Ava Kill Jayden, she decides to leave but returns to Paris paying a visit to Paris Propre Lycee Mondial, the high school they both graduated from, she seeks on destroying Ava for a reason we got to know. Luca Rodriguez, a computer genius, friend to Ava who appears in the fifth chapter, helping Isabella on the true identity of Mr Miller, he plays a great role in revealing huge secrets. Jordan Keeper, Ava’s ex boyfriend and Isabella’s boyfriend, works on breaking Ava as demanded by Isabella but in the process falls for her.
Ava held the secret for two years, but discovers a shocking truth; she didn’t kill Jayden, Isabella did, she have walked into her house, where Jayden was and opened the Veranium jar, hypnotizing Jayden and ordering him to kill Ava, on the basis of Self defense, Ava Pushes him hard he knocks the jar and the Veranium escapes into his nostrils.
Ava finds out it was all planned out, by one Ms Williams who had killed her dad, Lucas Lopez for the Veranium but uses his sixteen year old daughter to get what she wanted, and decides to avenge his death.
She remembers Prophesy, a book written by her dad on the Veranium, the one Mr Jayden who worked for Ms William used in getting to the element, she calls on Mr Miller after discovering he was a friend to her dad, they both work on dealing with Ms William and her sidekick, Isabella. Isabella attempts to kill Jordan, after discovering he knew who she was as she orders her help, Martins to thrash his body, Jordan survives and walks home when he gets scared by Ava who made her way into his house, he tells Ava, she never killed Jayden and exposes MS William true identity. Ava tells Mr Miller to deceive Ms. William in coming to Paris and tells Luca to add chemical substances to the remains of the Veranium, one which could damage the brain when opened.
Ms William and Isabella arrives at the high school, Ava confronts them, at first Ms. William denies the allegation but unremorsefully accepts she did everything alongside Isabella, Isabella confesses her hatred for Ava as she blames Ava for overshadowing her all her high school life, calm Ava gives them the Veranium, and calls the state’s psychiatric hospital as she knew they would run mad on the Streets of Paris, she tells Isabella Jordan sends his greetings, revealing that Jordan never died. She feels fulfilled as she didn’t feel like the dead woman she was before and thanks Mr Miller, Jordan and Luca as they all decide to go grab a drink .
